KP roll up - need help quick - outside fixing this crap
i got the thing in the mail today and i ahve been trying to hook this up for the past 2 hours, its rediculous - the instructions make it sound easy but i cant find the right wires apparantly. I have an 05 coupe and i tapped into the right wires behind the door panel right next to the speaker, into the harness that connects to the window controllers.
It doesnt work. I tried looking behind the speaker like it said too for a purple actuator wire but theres ntohing back there, there is a purple wire in the harness though.
any help please! (only thing i can think of is its not compatable with the 05......instructions say g35 up to 04 - but i dont think its that)

this is from the KP website forums:
The wiring on the 05 is:
12VDC (KPtech Red) - White
Gnd (KPtech Black) - Black
RAP (KPtech Yellow) - Pink
Door Lock Actuator (KPtech Blue) - Purple
Door Lock Cylinder (KPtech Green) - Yellow
How are you checking the wires? The yellow wire (door lock cylinder) should read 5vdc until you turn the key in the cylinder to the 'LOCK' position. The door lock module needs to be plugged in for this to read on a meter.
The purple wire is behind the speaker, inside the door. It is a very short signal, and hard to read with a volt meter. Everytime you lock the door it will read 12vdc briefly.
The wire colors are out of the service manual, so I can't vouch for their accuracy. I've never installed a module on an 05, so verify before making connections!
Good luck,

did you plug the window/door lock switches back in when you did the test? I think they need to be connected to work.
on mine you need to get the timing correct for the windows to go up. press too fast or too slow and it wont work. press, wait a second press in about 1 to 2 seconds they should start to go up. There's a slight delay.
