It amazes me how you figure all this stuff out Kevin. Your basement freaked me out with all those machines. haha. All of my KP modules still work great! So, I know this one will be just as great.

It is actually a hair bit bigger then the cigarette lighter jack.

i have an '06 and was thinking of mounting it in place of the ashtray in the center console that way you can push to retract the ashtray and push start, then closing it again.

It is still in testing - we have no planned changes for it. We are having a hard time finding local testers that can sacrifice the time to let us install one.

if you've already planned a vacation to hawaii, you can use my a guinea pig for this product. haha.

One step closer to release! Installed a module in a '94 Mazda RX-7 last night and it works perfect!

Instead of having to turn the key...is there any way you can have a key fob installed so that it sends a message to the button to turn it on?

We are currently developing an add on RFID based "ignition controller" that will do all the ignition switching without using a key. I plan to permanently bypass the mechanical steering wheel lock so the car will drive with no key.

It really doesn't take much to make it so you don't need a key, just a switch for the ignition system and some wire for the accessory circuit. Of course if you want security it gets much more complicated.

is there any chance of a version for 06+ cars with RFID keys? it should be much easier since the key isnt used to start the car anyways.
