Question Does anyone have an Alpine IVA W205?

i just ordered a black double din kit and this is the deck that i want.. but i was looking at my car.. i have an 04 auto.. and the way that the iva w205 folds down and opens all the way up, it doesnt look like it could while in park cuz it would hit the stick.
i was wondering if this was true.

+1 for manual. I have seen a picture recently on the board of an Auto with the display fully opened, and it appeared to clear it, but I have no idea what gear the car was in, maybe it was not park.

You need the PAC SWI-ALP Universal Steering Wheel Control.

Why are so many people concerned with the steering wheel controls? Dont these units come with a remote?

because its easier to hit the buttons on the steering wheel then mess with a remote...all you need is a pac unit to hook up the buttons

Much easier with the steering wheel controls. The steering wheel is always in my hand, the remote is in back seat center console for the back seat driver.
