6.5 inch speakers will fit up front. Get speaker spacers too so that the speakers will meet up to the back of the door panel.

Are you powering them with an external amp?

They will fit. Ive had focal polykevlars for nearly 6 years now. I loveee the detail from the focals, but the midbass was lacking. I kept the focal tweeter and replaced the mid with a morel woofer. The midbass was much better than with the focals. Power wasnt an issue because i was giving them 150 clean watts from an old ppi pc2150. My new system is going to consist of cdt highs up front due to the research i did and found that the midbass was much stronger on these speakers. Ive had a set of diamond motorsports back in 2000 that sounded great with only about 75 watts on them, but i found the metal tweeter to be a little harsh. I beleive that diamonds qaulity has dropped since then. Ide go with the focals, though the tweeter is titanium, not once has it ever sounded harsh or tingy. My midbass may have sucked cause i only had 5 3/8" and 6.5 should be better anyway. So of those two, get the focals.

Thanks 4 the help.... yes I have a JL 500/1 for my sub, and JL 300/4 for the speakers that I have now. But sounds like one is blown that's why I'm looking to up grade.

Thanks 4 the help.... I guess I will go wit Focals. But there seems to be many different sets of focals speakers. Any suggestions? I saw a couple that are even polyglass? Are those supposed to be better? Sorry for the noob questions. Do u guys happen to know where I can get/order focals speakers? I saw them on ebay but I really don't want to buy from ebay. Thanks a lot........

I see, the K2's just came out so the price is still going to be high. I really dont think you need something that high end unless you are going to compete profesionally. You'de be more than happy with the regular polykevlars, like the KF's, which can be found on ebay for around 350 or so.

Honestly, with the power you have, if you just want a nice set of speakers, the JL Audio C5-650 are really nice speakers. I think you can get those from woofersetc for like 360. Focals are nice speakers, but they usually need a good bit of power and remember i switched out my focal polykevlar midrange for another speaker cause it just lacked the midbass, and thats with a a min of 150 watts going to them haha. I also hear the Alpine type x components are really nice speakers to and can handle some abuse. CDT Audio EF-61FG are also awesome speakers. These are also the ones im going to be running, and they are on sale for 199.99 with free shipping.
