where in MD are you located? I might be able to lend you a hand.
what wires on the harness are you left with? Is possible for you to take a picture of your connections and post them on here so we can take a close look?
Also, did you disconnect the battery while you work on it? any slight touch of the certain wires could cause a spark and fry your unit.

yep the other two harness plugs is left hanging ....unless you have the PAC steering wheel control and your DD unit has a speed sensor input...then you will need one of those two plugs and tap into the wires.
Nevertheless, i used the 70-7551 as well and i was left with only one wire unused, which is the Amp Ground. According on the back of plastic bag, it is the Black/White wire, for some strange reason, mine was actually Gray/Black

turn the loudness on, and adjust the EQ... it'll help a little bit.
I see what they meant but using the speaker out instead and have a low-level converter to adjust the gains to dail in the exact juice the factory bose likes.
I'm lacking the power i originally had. I'll probably get rid of the bose amp and go with a nice aftermarket 4, 5 or even a 6 channel amp in the future.
Some people said the weakness was the bose HU, some said the bose amp, some said the bose speakers....i'm came to a conclusion that the whole friggin system is a piece of ****
