This Is The Reason Why You Need The Jdm Ac Controller
hey w/o that ,i couldnt play my zune.........but they could of made an AUX port -_-
I had an electronic technician resolder the dual climate control component on to the JDM ac circuitboard. Everything works perfectly and it looks like oem. This is how this dash kit should have been made. Sound Wave in San Carlos, CA. did an excellant job with the install of the Alpine W505 with navi, xm, hd radio, and ipod integration.
Why do I bother to DIY???

Congrats on the install! Do you have the contact information for the electronic technician you had do the soldering to the AC controller? How much did it cost? And how much did the radio installer charge for the install?
What about the 2006 coupe?? I don't have the Bose system nor do I have the dual climate control. Does anyone know if the AC controller is integrated into the stereo board like the picture at the begining of the thread?
200 bucks for an AC contoller is alot of dough....

Did anyone ever come up with an answer for this?
I'm going to be carrying out this little endeavor in the very near future. Should I take it to a professional for the soldering or do you think that a person with adequate abilities will be able to handle it. I am capable of installing full stereo systems including amp and subwoofer setups and stuff like that. If so, here's the question, is there enough solder on the JDM kit circuit board to just apply the button to or do i need to worry about buying the right solder?
