So i have a 06 Coupe stock sound system its a non bose.

this has happend several times to me but ill be driving and my stereo will be on and then no sound. but if it sits for a cople hours or overnight its fine.


anyone else have a problem like this or heard of one??

it seames like its overheating or something. but there is no error code and it still functions like there is sound.

 

It's probably something to do with the HU since you don't have the Bose system (which adds an external amp that can also become defective). It will be repaired under warranty at the dealership.

 

cool thanks not sure if i want the dealer to replace it the car is going in to storage for 6 months to a year and when i get it out ill be putting a new one in anyways.
