Personally I just find the Garmin to be the easiest and I've never had a problem with it. Cost me about $200 and I use it a lot. Not to mention it also saves your top speeds and whatnot on there

We have 3 Garmins and like them. The Nuvi 260 is the last purchase and is great for the $.

Are you looking for a portable unit or an indash unit?

Then none of the ones mentioned above apply to you.

The only indash navi that I know of that uses Garmin are the Kenwood DD units. That is the reason I chose my Kenwood unit.

The problem is that you need a DD kit and the JDM kits from Japan are backordered. The Metra kit is the only one available right now.

Mmm

Hey again Gilley..

What exactly is the difference in the JDM and Metra DD kits... assuming the JDM are better since everyone is trying to get them, but just curious.

Thanks.

The Metra AC buttons are not as nice and are a different color from the OEM buttons and there may be some issues with the fitment of the Metra kit for the navigation equipped cars. The benefit of the Metra is that the dual climate button is already soldered in place.

it doesn't matter either way because the metra kit is for 03-04 dashes anyways
