So I have these Pioneer REV 6x9's sitting here.....

After my civic got stolen, I recovered some of the car audio gear. My DLS speakers, but no XO's or amps. They didn't steal the Pioneer TS-D960R 6x9's out of the back either. So I got those. They've just been sitting on my shelf ever since.

So I was wondering, I know my G (2005 M6 Coupe) has 6x9's in the rear, but they are low frequency only, and running off of the amp. Correct? Also, aren't they 2ohm?

What would happen if I threw these Pioneer 6x9's back there? It would still play only the low frequencies, but wouldn't that still sound better coming from these Pioneer 6x9's than from the stock Bose 6x9's?

Another question, the Bose 6x9's are 2ohm right? These Pioneer's are 4ohm. Wouldn't that cut the power in half?

Thoughts? Has anyone done this before?

I remember a guy threw some Tangband (sp) 6x9's back there one time, and he thought it sounded worlds better. I was reading about it on here I think. I think those Tangbands were 6x9 subs though, and possibly 2ohm. Not sure. Maybe they were 4ohm?

Thoughts? Ideas? How difficult is it to swap out those 6x9's?

Speakers look like these:

Since the Pioneers are 4 ohm, the volume would be about half what it is now. And they would still only output low frequencies.
