OK everyone this took me a long time to document I took as many detailed pics as I could and as I promised after my How-to remove your back seats,side panels, and back dash DIY.

I promised a Stereo install...for the Coupe..Dont know if Im too late but here it goes...Some of this requires you to know a little about Car stereo.....But I did it step by step as best I could.....
My system I just added and EQ 2 AMPs and a Bass tube. I want to keep my stock radio.

I will update this post tomorrow...Tonight I only have time to post Running Power, adding a Cap, fuse holder, dis-block, and Grounding...plus some ideas some may be able to use
All to make LIFE easier...as usual...just tryin to help...

MIND YOU I Finished the install but the audio portion will be added tomorrow....

Of course you do not connect the other end of that wire to the battery until after all power lines are run....

You may need to shave some of the kick panel off (where it meets the door sill and the floor) to fit the wire down under it to then go under the door sill , you'll see what I mean if you run the power this way

NYC35 excellent job, this is exactly what im looking for! this will go perfect with joe's DASHKIT DIY guide! with this both you can install an entire audio system in the g35, very nice pics and instructions so far, keep up the good work, i plan on rewiring my system, the install place did a horrible job, but with this guide, i can do it! EXCELLENT WORK!!!!

will rca's and remote turn on wires be run down the door sill as well?

 

Now this was just my personal idea...figured I'd pass it to those that may like it.....but i removed the Bose amp from this bracket (its a sturdy little bracket too) and I drilled some pilot holes and laid my Capacitor mounts on it (vise vera actually) then attached my capacitor to its mounts and used this as my central power station...see pic above of step 1

I mounted the cap ...flipped the bracket back over but had to to one small thing this idle bolt was in the way (its not used for anything but I had to bend it with a hammer because it wasnt clearing the Cap) (Capacitor)

Now the Cap is mounted with black tap over the screws poking through the metal....power station step one complete

Now take a look at the Bose connectors....I have a wiring list i got from G35driver....dont remember where tho...but it was right on point...saved me time.....but didnt list the polarity of the wires...but I figured that out..but told me what was what...
I will post that also in the audio section for now I'll just show the connectors

Connecting the 4AWG wire to the Fuse holder and distribution block ...the distribution block should have 1- 4AWG on one side and 4- 8 AWG on the other....

the fuse holder ..holds the fuse...the fuse should be roughly the sum of all your gear that is using power from this connection
example
AMP 1 has 25A fuse
AMP 2 has 25A fuse
EQ has 10A fuse

Fuse in fuse holder should be 60A or 50A

(just explaining for those that dont know about this stuff)
