What are the 2 white and 1 green for? Seems like a lot of grounds.

connect eveything back like stock, off the 12V lighter and see what happens.... maybe shortcircuiting off cigarette lighter wires...

You might want to take it to Autozone or somewere that has OBDII reader who can give you fault codes. That way you can pinpoint exact problem where shortcircuit is. Did you check fuse block near in front of the battery as well as the driver foot well near the dead pedal?

keep us posted....

Hi again,
the dealer told me, that ground was loose or dirty and the car has several grounds, any way they reprogram the computer and every thing should be o.k.
I'm typing from work and my daughter is picking up the car.
Weird.....
thanks again

That would have to be a seriously dirty ground to keep the car from starting. Hope everything works out and doesn't cost you a lot.

I'm not the expert, this is the invoice "found codes #U1001/U1000. Repaired ECM ground terminal". Total cost $348.60 plus towing $230.0 for 20 miles. And The extended warranty does not cover it, bc nothing was brocken.

I guess the most important question is "Does you car start up now?"

It looks like they did the OBDII scan and found those codes U1001 and 1000. I'll try to doing some research in the service manual on these codes.

Guys, I'm having the exact same problem. I checked all the grounds. This only happened after I tested the reverse camera by simmply putting the car in reverse. When I didn't see a picture I turned it off and now it won't start. Any ideas?

Hey guys, in case it helps anyone I wanted to write back with an update of how I fixed my car. It was a fuse in a hidden fuse box. The one under the battery to be exact. Because of that 1 fuse the whole car wouldn't start. I couldn't believe it! Good thing I was only without a car for 2 days.
