Firewall Grommet

I know I am gonna get **** for this but I need some help. I am installing an underbody kit on my coupe and I cant find a grommet in my firewall suitable for passing the 1.5 inch plug in for the lights. Any help? I looked behind the battery and it didnt look like there was enough room and I couldnt find one by the steering column. Does anyone have pics or a detailed description?

Thanks

You might want to just cut the wire and resolder it after passing it through. Is it just a power wire? Is it a proprietary connector? If not, just find another connector that is the same and re-terminate the power cable.

There are 5 wires. One from each tube for the underbody and an individual 14 guage power wire. The 4 have connectors that attach to the main control box and the warranty is void if they are cut. Since it has a two year warranty I dont want to void it before I even install them. Any other ideas?

so the grommet behind the battery directly under the windshield is not large enough?

You can always just drill a new hole. Is each connector that big? Can you route the other end of the connector through the hole?

The grommet itself is big enough but there are so many wires that there is no more space. The other end is attached to the light so it wont fit for sure. All the connectors are that big.
