i installed myself with a buddy of mine who already installed in his F-150 . I bought the unit thru ebay for $1100, dash kit from Riverside infiniti including a/c control $286, necessary wire harnesses bought from crutchfield and back up camera from ebay.

All in all I spent 1600 so I saved at least 200-250 of labor if I had it installed elsewhere. i did not use any thing to pry up the factory console where the shifter ,used fingers and a piece of wood(thin). I recommend you do this set up too, you'll luv it.

I don't think they have it wood trim. I suggest changing it to the brushed look looks cleaner.Good luck bro.Post pics whenever you get it installed.

SLAVIK -It will definitely touch the shifter-I beleive thats the only drawback to our cars.

BLAZINPLACID-The fit is exact no modification what so ever. The only custom thing I did was the back trim so you can;t see metal harness holding the unit.Th GPS antenna was a bit fustrating. I really wanted to mount it on top of dash but there was no flat section to mount it. Before I inserted the clock mechanism,I placed the Antenna on a flat spot above the center screw that removes the whole radio assembly. I receive the signal with no problems. As for the bluetooth mic i placed it on the driver side corner. The only thing is that you have t speack a bit loud for pple to hear you.

REDG35-I purchased the unit for 1100 on ebay shipped. The colors are very vived and clear.
