Will I need more power?

Re: Will I need more power?
I haven't had the seat down much. I will have a potential problem, say, if I want to put skiis through the back seat area, over the amp. I'll have to put a blanked or something over the amp, and not overheat it.
When adding an amp, I guess it depends which space you want to lose. Side area, or back area. I'm sure a creative installation team can give you some suggestions.

Just wanted to back what al503 said.
There is definately NOT a sub under the back seat.
to double check this for your self, simply grab the front of the seat and pull up firmly. The bottom os the back seat just clips in the front area. And then just look for yourself.

Re: Will I need more power?
Most component sets are 4 ohms and you should have no problems running them off the stock amp if needed. The only time you really need to worry about the ohm ratings is when impedence of the speaker is less than than the minimum impedence of the amp. IE: if an amp is only good down to 4 ohms and you try to run a 2 ohm speaker or sub, you might have problems. Running a 4 ohm speaker with an amp that is given it's nominal/max watt rating at say 2 ohms will only cut the amps power down by half. There is no real danger here, just a loss of power.
