Probably JDM vs. Metra kit.

And year differences too (03-04 vs. 05)

Yep, compare the kits in posts 209 and 223:

Yea, the difference is in the finish. The Metra kit color is off for sure, but it really stands out more in pictures than in person. I don't really mind it.

For the price different of the JDM kit, it'd be cheaper to just buy some paint and shoot the Metra kit to match. Of course, that depends if you've got the equipment or a hookup to do it. I got the Metra for $100 from Crutchfield because I purchased my DD deck from them; it was hard to consider almost 3x the cost for the JDM.

Well, you have to spend the $150 for a JDM a/c controls anyway, you might as well spend the other $150 to get the rest of the JDM trim. Keeping the dual is as simple as spending 5 min with a soldering pen:

You can modify the factory trim to house a JDM trim, but your skill with a dremel dictates how well it turns out. Here's a thread by somebody who did a pretty good job:

Big ups and thanks to Wrathernaut and his famous "Wrathernaut's Double Din Shopping and Resource List" thread

My setup:
JDM DD trim kit and AC control
Metra 40-NI10 Nissan Antnna Adapter
Metra Axxess ASWC Universal Steering Wheel Control Interface
PAC ROEMNIS2 Factory Premium Sound Interface Headunit Replacement
pioneer avh p3300bt....4 days later....pioneer avh p4300dvd.

I rather have my iPod hidden and I wanted that "little bit" extra screen .

Bluetooth was pretty cool when I briefly had the 3300, however I don't see myself using it that often which resulted another reason to change.

I ordered a shorter ipod cable so I don't have to keep bringing down my home ipod cable(see pic #3).
