Dude your kit looks sooooooooo good. I most def want to get mine like that if i could buy a kit looking like that i will but if it was a mod to the stock kit i will have to try to do it cuz the aftermarket dd kits look sooo fake i didnt want to waste the money and have to look at those lame buttons and stuff can you tell me how you did yours???

This is the JDM conversion kit. I didn't like the look of the cheesy metra buttons either, so I shelled out the extra $100 for this kit. It really does look good and I'm pleased with my install. The only thing is I wish I drilled the extra holes so the unit could sit flush. Not too big of a deal though. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me. I'll be happy to answer them. Thanks for the compliment though.

Yep, JDM kit. You can check my DDin shopping/resource sticky if you need to know where to purchase one.

I see that you did the black DD kit, with your titanium(silver) console. How does it look in person? I'm growing impatient with no one having the titanium.

I think it looks really good, but I'm going to cover it because it doesnt flow with the rest of the interior. But if i would have left the interior alone, it looked really good!

I rather have my iPod hidden and I wanted that "little bit" extra screen .

Bluetooth was pretty cool when I briefly had the 3300, however I don't see myself using it that often which resulted another reason to change.

I ordered a shorter ipod cable so I don't have to keep bringing down my home ipod cable(see pic #3). http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0029N35S0
what an idiot. (me) I didn't know you can just use the iPod cable directly to the USB. I bought theafermarket plug. What a waste of $

also, did you install the trim ring that came with your head unit? I forgot to use mine while i was installing the hu

The Metra 70-7551 or equivalent (RCA harness) has known issues with the Bose amp, that's why in my shopping list (sticky'd in this forum) I recommend the PAC ROEM-NIS2 adapter instead.

The Metra 70-7550 or equivalent (speaker-level output harness) plays loudly on the bose amp, but with notable audio quality and noise floor issues, particularly notable is that the bass usually drop to nearly nothing when using the 70-7550.
