It looks pretty bad, my buddy had that issue in his 06 G. you will need to replace the wood around the shifter with aluminum. ill see if he can snap some pics

Hey Top Teke, any reason you went with the HCE-C104 instead of the ND-BC5? How are you going to set it up? Just wondering because I'm planning to install my P4400BH this weekend and was not decided on the rear view camera. Thanks!

You can pick up the aluminum shift plate trim, then it doesn't look too bad, or you can get creative and do what elimelech12 did:

Darn!!! Alright because I been looking alone and I cant find anything for the aluminum plates wise! Even local wreckers not one! I did find a shifter but that costed like another $300

Thats who I was speaking too it would cost me around 1000 for the the pieces shifter trim JDM double din and the navigation piece, thats why im leaning to keep it and if it looks bad then i'll just get it right after

Where are you guys getting the double din kit at I heard bad things about metra one
I want to get one or maybe use factory one if that could work

Phil @ Grubbs Infintiti has been the best source in my experience.

Other than that, check the shopping list.

Thanks guys, the box was actually custom made and initially I was planning to get the 10's but I got these for a good deal so I just decided to get it...and it has enough air space, it hits HARD!

maaaan, well congratz on a job well done!! haha I can only imagine the disgusting power draw those things take! my one 1043d makes my tranny stutter when the base hits to hard... how many wrms you have goin to each?
