i bought a 2006 g35 coupe couple of weeks ago and someone stole the dvd player unit and cut the wires, and now when i turn on the car the radio and heating controls and nothing on my console works, Does anyone know if i replace the dvd player will evrything go back to normal?? please help

 

problem is prob the dimmer switch lead wire was cut not letting the hvac or the radio to complete the circuit so try hooking this wire up first and it should give you electricity

 

also check your fuses. (especially the ones under the hood by the battery)

 

probably fuse. if a fuse is blown, cap the open wires before replacing.

 

Nope if they stole the radio with the climate control you will ave no control over any of the heat/ac. It will continue to blow on whatever it was set to before it was removed. If insurance is covering this they will have to replace the entire dashboard harness.

find yourself the wiring diagram and see if you can piece it together, Im guessing you had the stock radio but an additional DVD unit in the Navi cubby?

 

no i have stock navi and had a stock dvd player but sumone riped and stole the dvd player out of my car and but the wires that were connected to the factory stock dvd player
