Hi guys, i just got my g35 on sunday and im proud

I actually wanted to put in a double din dvd deck into the car and i have the PIONEER AVH-PH4000DVD.

I also have a Bazooka ELA 300.1 AMP (200x1 @ 4ohm & 300x1 @2ohm)
and i also have POLK GNX10 Sub (175w continuous, 400w peak, 4ohm impedance)

Now here are my questions:

1) Is my amp and sub and dvd deck setup okay to use or will i come up with an electrical problem?

2) I am still not sure which gauge amp kit i need (as i searched google and came up with nothing -.-)

3) I bought the METRA 99-7604 dash kit for the G. Do I have to cut the middle to make it a double din?

4) I basically need the attena adapter, NNo3B wiring harness, amp kit, and a tug switch (for dvd play while driving) to run everything right? or am i missing something?

 

you can use an 8gauge wiring kit, you need antenna adapter, and the 7550 wiring harness. you don't need the NN03B harness. you're amp/deck will work together

 

i dont know where i can buy the metra 7550 harness locally lol but would the nn03b still work?

 

7550 harness is made by metra/bestkits. any bestbuy or local shop will have the standard nissan harness

 

im buying all my supplies from best buy, they only have the nn03b one not the metra one :\

ahh, thanks so much got my worried for a sec. saw that frys had the 7550 but thats a 30min drive from my place. 30min drive just for a wiring harness!? lol

so my sub and amp will be powering okay with each other right?

 

as long as the amp is 200 rms you should be alright, don't expect earth rattling bass though
