Radar detector? best one?

I've been a K40 dealer for 20 years and they make a very good radar detector, but they really haven't changed them at all for as long as I can remember. Other then making the install easier with the Calibre systems the technology is the same as it was 10-15 years ago. While others like Escort have added feature like GPS marking and traffic cam databases. I was talking to my K40 rep a few weeks ago and I told her they need to make updates to their product if they want to keep up with everything else that's out there.

One particular area they are really bad in is detection by the Spectre III's and IV's. It's a shame only 1 detector manufacturer has been able to permanantely defeat all RDD's. Whistler's Pro 78 has done a pretty good job on this front as well. With all the patents that Valentine Research and Belscort have, it makes it extremely difficult for the other manufacturers to implement better technology into their detectors.

I had a bel. 955 returned it, got a valentine 1.7 returned it getting a
PASSPORT SRX Radar/Laser Defense System, I got a ticket and the cop was using a laser so I need a shifter

with the valentine 1.7 I had the rear arrow on for 5 miles, idk wats wrong it it. its on L mode with sensitivity on lowest still show arrow and K band light on that why I am returning it.
