I've been a K40 dealer for 20 years and they make a very good radar detector, but they really haven't changed them at all for as long as I can remember. Other then making the install easier with the Calibre systems the technology is the same as it was 10-15 years ago. While others like Escort have added feature like GPS marking and traffic cam databases. I was talking to my K40 rep a few weeks ago and I told her they need to make updates to their product if they want to keep up with everything else that's out there.

Whistler's Pro 78 has done a pretty good job on this front as well. I had a bel. 955 returned it, got a valentine 1.7 returned it getting a

with the valentine 1.7 I had the rear arrow on for 5 miles, idk wats wrong it it. its on L mode with sensitivity on lowest still show arrow and K band light on that why I am returning it.
