i bought my car ,with a burnt interior,and replaced it all from an 04,i just installed an 04 factory radio and heater a/c controls in my 03 coupe,and i have no sound ,everything else is working perfectly,but cant get any sound out of it,help help with this guys?,is there a blown circuit,fuse,or bad amp,or is this a problem elsewhere?

 

have you checked all the fuses? is it the base system or bose?

 

its a bose system,i couldnt find any burnt fuses,so far

 

is there a fuse that could be hidden somewhere for this ,no sound problem?

 

in your first post, you said the interior was burnt. was any of the car's electrical wiring affected, such as the wiring from the headunit to the bose amp.

 

no,nothing was burnt as far as the wring goes,except the driver seat plug,i changed out already
the radio did the same thing in the 04,that i pulled the interior out of,it did everything but ,no sound
so i doubt i have a bad amp or something like that,i think the head is bad,but not sure

 

as a side note, i'm impressed that you changed a literally burnt interior of an '03 out with the interior guts from an '04 -- nice work --

i bought it as a vandalized car from a towing company,i did all the work myself 100%
this is the 26th vehicle i have done that was burnt,its my specialty,but also my 1st infiniti
