Just use the other diy write ups. I believe the dash disassembly is the same. Then it's just a matter of plugging in the new wire harness to the back of your radio and plugging the USA spec unit into that. You can't really mess it up since those connectors will only fit into where they need to go. It's really not that difficult.

How is the sound quality? I have an isimple gateway and the sound is very low compaired to cd. I have to crank to volume just to hear. Is anyone complaining about the sound quality on the spec Pa15-NIS or Pa15-INF?

I've had one for the last 3 months and the sound quality is unbelievable (IMO). Of course, it all depends on the quality of the MP3s you have on your iPod. It's at least as good as CD quality, maybe even better.

Greetings to all!

New to the forum and owns a 03 FX35 and where my family also has a 2007 G35 sedan.

Purchased 2 sets of pa15-NIS for both infiniti. Worked brilliant on my FX35 without any problem. But issues occurs when i try to install on the G35 (No SAT button, and pretty sure isnot prewired with SAT receiver)...
Like this: http://www.optionsmotors.com/vehicle...oor+sedan.html

here is what happened...
Tossed out the HU and found the only plug fit was the only that had no plug pre-attached to it. (12 pin)
DIP set as : off-on-on-on
When i finalized the installation and connect the iphone to the cable, it DOES CHARGE my 4G iphone, and did pop out the notice something like " this accessory is not optimized for your iphone"
But i tried to press "RADIO", "AUX" or" DISC", and all the buttons on my dash board but non of them will make the iphone to play the iphone and to make audio through the car sound system. And the iphone is locked and won't let me to access iphone's IPOD on device.

Called up USASPEC and the guy just advice me to set the DIP as on-off-on-off, and had to go through the presetting procedure in 3-1-3 (owner's manual)

Yet had time to try but can anyone confirm will this work?

Is there any member here had successfully made the 2nd gen G35 sedan work with PA15-NIS?

TKS in advance!

Need help with installtion

The 4 end that's come on the cable, two of the four plug into each other am I correct? And the 12pin goes into stereo and the original 12pin that came off the bak of the radio goes into the the 12 pin which is part of the 4 ends ?

Sorry if that's confusing, in order words you only replace one 12 pin into the actual back of the radio ?
