Sometimes when I plug mine in, it will play then disconnect, in which case I would need to remove the plug and then plug back in and it tends to reset to the first song on the Iphone. Very irritating as I would like for it to continue on the playlist but then again I would like for it to work without having to continously unplug and plug in.

I think I done everything correct, but it is not working. I have the PA15 infi and im installing it on a 04 G35 W/bose and the /sat button. I hooked everything up but when I press the SAT button all I get is a messege that says no sat, it's not even showing anything on my ipod, what could possibly be the problem?

Did you ground it properly? All the switches in their initial position? Try clicking your radio button on the steering wheel to see if you have "CD CHG."

Call up tech support and see if they have a solution as well!

For anyone that has the NIS version of the PA15, where did you guys ground the wire at? It is extremely short and i can NOT find any bare metal anywhere behind the whole head unit when i take it out.

Thanks!

I did mine right on the Bose amplifier. You should be able to just sandwich the grounding wire between one of the screws and the metal housing.

^ ahh yeh i had to edit my post because i realized yours was the INF and was installed from the trunk, which probably has a bunch of bare metal exposed compared to behind the head unit where freaking everything is plastic :[

Woops sorry! I didn't see that you used the NIS version.. I think the grounding wire can be pulled off the main cable a little more to give you some length. Can you find any screws you can sandwich the grounding piece to?

I've had my PA5-NIS for about 6 months now, and I have to say that I am very disappointed with the sound. It is not crystal clear, and almost staticky at times. Also, has anyone had troubles with the aux port? Mine does not seem to work. Do you need to change the dip switch settings to use the aux port?

I believe you do, look at your manual that came with the unit. I had my for a while and no problems at all. I have a 07 coupe.

I set mine according to what the technician told me. I believe I have 1, and 3 on, the other two are off.

Alright I got it figured out. I had to turn off dip switch 1. Now I am able to use the aux port or the Ipod.

I am still disappointed in the sound quality though. I think it may have gotten worse over time. Could this be from a loose ground? I wonder if it came loose... I really don't feel like taking all that **** apart again.

I've read alot of these pages and searched, so if this has already been asked, sorry.

Does anybody have a DIY w/ photos for an '07? Alot of the convos on iPod integration seems to be centered on older G's. I'd like to add the USA Spec to my vehicle, but I have no idea where the connections are made. If there's no DIY, at least a few pointers would be great..

It's an 07 G35 Sedan, W/ Sat & Bose, no nav.

Thanks..
