Depends on the DIP switches. When I push the seek/track buttons it changes songs.

I think you missed out on the legendary Ronnie Rana video. lol

Anyways, it shows "All Songs" and then I think it says "direct" when you press it again, and the same song will continue playing but then you should be able to control from your ipod.

Ronnie rana video?

I pushed it and it said All Songs like you said, but when I pressed it again, it just switched to some other track.
Did I F up my dip switches or something?

The only way I can get "Direct" to show is to unplug my ipod, press PTY CAT, then it'll say "AUX".
I'll plug my ipod in again and it'll say "direct" for a second, then will display "All Songs" again

I installed the pa15-nis in my 2006 AT coupe this morning and everything is working fine except that once I was done with the installation my "service engine soon" light came on. This is the first time i've done any work on my car so I'm not sure if this is a big deal. I am also confused because I did not do anything to the engine so..

@Bigtime - I think that's if you use CD right? I'm using RADIO... maybe?

@Djfermion - I don't know why your light would turn on unless you did something wrong. All you do is plug in the PA15 harness and attach the original harnesses to the PA15 and attach the ground.

If I just press PTY CAT > SEEK it'll go to Direct Mode

I did not connect the ground. But everything works perfectly fine as is. Could this really be the problem because I do not want to take apart the dash again unless I have to.

I also got the SES light on after I installed the PA15-NIS on my '06 5AT. Do an ECU reset via the pedal method and it will go away.

Operations Procedures:

1. Confirm that accelerator pedal is fully released, turn ignition switch “ON” (NOT start) and wait 3 seconds.
2. Repeat the following steps (2a and 2b) procedures quickly five times within 5 seconds.
2a. Fully depress the accelerator pedal (HARD).
2b. Fully release the accelerator pedal.
3. Wait 7 seconds, fully depress the accelerator pedal and keep it for approx. 10 seconds until the CEL starts blinking.
4. Fully release the accelerator pedal (while the CEL is still blinking)
5. Wait about 10 seconds.
6. Fully depress the accelerator pedal and keep it for more than 10 seconds.
7. Fully release the accelerator pedal (The CEL light will continue to blink).
8. Turn ignition switch to “OFF” position and now you can start the car. The CEL light should be gone. If the CEL light continues to remain ON, repeat the above steps. Remember, timing is EXTREMELY critical to resetting the ECU. You may even need someone's help to do this correctly.

^^^timing is VERY important. some people get it right the first time, others get it right after 20 times. some people just give up. i got lucky and got it right the first time. break out the stopwatch (phone, watch).
