Folder mode is using your head unit or steering wheel controls to access the playlist, artist, album, etc. folders.

Yea you should be able to skip tracks through a steering wheel. In One of the modes you may need to hold 'Next' for 2 sec.

Night Ryda....maybe you have something set wrong....I leave my ipod on shuffle all songs and when I hold the steering whell toggle for 2 seconds it forwards to the next song...have found myself hitting the button on the head unit because it does it immediately versus holding the steering wheel toggle for awhile....love the volume control on the steering wheel though because I listen to hair metal pretty loud and I adjust through the song easily when the guitar solos scream too loud...my thumb is always there subconciously adjusting the volume

lol no problem Cory I appreciate all the help I get, thanks a lot. But when I hold the steering wheel button, it goes to the next playlist..I guess I need to switch to Folder Mode like Deepdiver said..can you enable Folder mode at anytime unlike how it says in the manual that it must be done at the time of installation?

I installed mine last week and the steering wheel control to skip track didnt work when I use the satellite button on my stereo. I didnt know that I have to wait for 2 seconds. Thanks for the info.

By the way when you are using the internal CD player button instead of the SAT button on the stereo, the steering wheel controll to skip tracks works instantly. You dont have to wait for two seconds.

I have an 03.5' G35 coupe manual with BOSE,SAT, and NAVI. Just for reference.

Just installed my PA15-NIS and isn't this version supposed to enable a free control on your iPod? I'm using Ipod touch 1st gen.

When I attach my PA15 it says "accessory attached" or something like that.
Does it have anything to do w/ direct mode/foldermode or dip switches?

Make sure your DIP switches are set correctly, and then press "6" on your head unit (as if you were choosing CD 6). It should be defaulted on CD 5.
