I was wondering if anybody out there has installed the PA15-NIS by USA Spec. I know the PA11 is more widely used, and from what I'm told the PA15 is newer and has some added features.

Has anybody installed the PA15 yet, and if so, your thoughts?


Here is what I was told about the PA15:

The PA11 is no longer available, its been discontinued. We are the biggest USA Spec dealer therefore it has been released to us first.

The PA15 has been reformatted and updated to be faster, better and out perform the PA11.

 

i installed the usa spec and its fairly easy. Just study the diy floating around here.

 

i bought one of this PA15-nis last friday, waiting for the shipment, i will install this at g35 coupe 07, i will let you know what's new in this one.

 

thanks, i have been patiently waiting for somebody else to be the guinea pig. If i do this, I already have an idea for a mount at the existing ash tray for a stealthy docking station

Are you sure this is a real item. I purchased the USA-SPEC PA11-nis from crutchfield a few weeks ago. I saw the site you all are referring to (however the USA-SPEC site does not even list this as a current device for sale, in fact there is no reference to it all!)

The USA-SPEC pa11-nis works great. the only problem I have was with the IPOD cable and my IPHONE 3g (horrible buzz when charging, this did not occur with my IPOD classic). USA-SPEC was great! I called them and they sent me a replacement cable (had a different number on it). The new cable is flawless.

 

USA Spec's website shows PA15-Toyota, Acura, etc, but no Nissan/Infiniti yet. I just emailed them to get the info.

Here's the email from USA Spec today:
The pa11 Nis is gone it is no longer produced, the pa15 nis took its place. I believe crutchfield.com should have the newly release pa15 NIS unit. I do know they were delayed by a week so they might be taking stock on them as early as tuesday of this week. Thank you

I want to buy your adapter for an Ipod or Iphone. I have an Infiniti G35 coupe, 2007 model year. I thought I needed the PA11-NIS but do I actually need the PA15-NIS? I have an Iphone 3GS. Thanks.

looks good to me. too bad I bought the pa11-nis 3 weeks ago! oh well still works fine, does everything I need it to do.

Check the USA Spec website. If something goes wrong I want an authorized seller. But it's your $.
