Modification Sounds
Hey everyone,
I've posted a couple of little things, but I thought I would introduce myself, and also ask a question.
I've got a 2 month old G35 Coupe 6MT. Love it, it flies, got a ticket on the way home from the dealer.
I'm looking to make a couple of engine mods, but I was wondering if anyone has any sound files for the various mods out there.
I bought the Stillen high flow, and once I get it installed I'll post some sounds, but I'm concerned about making it wine to much. The low rumble now is sweet, but I want to add a cat back too. Stillen when it's ready I guess.
Any feedback on this topic?

the injen intake sounds nice. bring the deep growl out at high rpm's. on excellerations it has a sucking noise.
Lucky you already ordered the stillen? I called and they said it's still being developed. They wouldn't let me put a payment, deposit or anything on it yet. Wouldn't even tell me if it was like the 350z one. I hope it's like the 350z one, that's sweet.
I wonder if someone is going to develope a system that has linear cans instead of horizontal. The VQ engine needs back pressure though so I guess it won't be done.

Thanks man, I appreciate it. I also own a Moto Guzzi motorcycle and it's good to find a board that is as active and passionate as this one. No Harley bashing either!
I just got my Momo pedals, so I'm off to install them, cool install kit, you don't have to remove the original pedals! I'll take some shots and post them too.
On another note, what is everyone doing about paint chips on the hood. I looked at the clear cover stuff, but on black it just shows up to much, and I hate bras (on everything), but I now have about 6 little chips. I'm thinking of just having the body shop clean them up every time I go into service, but man....
I've done the pen / touch up before and to do it right you really have to do the whole wet sanding, polish bit.
