I'm thinking about buying this double din as I can get it for cheap and I want the ability to stream music from my cell phone through the car radio via bluetooth.... but all the information I read online only mention the ability to sync contacts/make phone calls via bluetooth. Is it possible to play music too?

Well, IS IT?

Not possible since the F900BT doesn't support A2DP (bluetooth stereo).

Yeah, not possible, but there's front and rear aux inputs that'll give you better sound quality for streaming audio anyway.

You can get bluetooth adapters that will receive from your phone and send it to the AUX jack on the back of the F900BT though.

Just wait for the X920BT, It supports A2DP and is a much better unit.

Is it better than the Z110BT, which I'm thinking about getting at this point.

They seem to have a similar price range.

It's about the same hardware as the Z110BT, since the Z120BT should be available as a software upgrade to the Z110BT, and the Z120BT and X920BT share the operator's manual (leaked a week ago).

So the Z110 will give you a little bigger screen and a few other options, but the X920 has the "new" z120 software possibly sooner, as the Z120 hasnt' even been announced.

You guys with your completed Z110 installs are making it hard for me to wait to buy it. I'm holding back because I won't see my car for 4 months, and even then I'll be for 2 weeks only, followed by another 6 month wait.

Would you be able to get the new software on an X920? Cuz if so that might be the cheap alternative for me
