Headunit works but speakers dont?
Headunit works but speakers dont?
2004 g35 coupe, BOSE FACTORY SYSTEM.
Ok guys my headunit is working fine. But i dont hear no audio..?
At first when the problem started, all i had to do was turn off the car and put it back on and it worked fine.
Now it doesint work at all, I also hear a ticking noise from my front driver side speaker when everything stops working. (even with the radio off)
I do have a system installed in my car.(Subwoofer) And it works fine, even when my stock speakers are not working.
WTH IS GOING ON? I search and i cant find CRAP!
The damn double din dash kit is soo expensive its like hell with the G35s.
PLEASE ANY INPUT ON THIS WILL MAKE MY DAY BETTER!

How positive are you the amp is gone? And if i replace it with a aftermarket amp how do i wire it? because every thing is plug and play with the factory one?
^ No one is going to be 100% right without being there with you and diagnosing it in person.
Wrathernaut is right in saying you're probably better off getting a new amp. I'd be of the mind to replace the craptastic front speakers too while you're at it, but that's just me. I'd say you could do this for less than $200, without labor charges, and you're only limited by your budget and time. If you could source another stock bose amp, just switching the amp out would be cost-effective
Look at the "How to Keep The Stock HU & Add Aftermarket Sound" sticky up there. A LOC would probably help you here too.
The link below is in very general terms, but the basic idea is there:
