They'll get deep

The way they'll play has more to do with the box they're in rather than the sub itself.

Ive heard some crazy 8s this summer.

4 1508 DDs made me REALLY wanna run 8's in my car. The box was as big as it would of been for 2 10" subs but I was impressed.

 

1508's are nice

you're not gonna find one made for a G35.

I don't have 8's but you gave me an idea. Honestly, i think 2 10's in a ported would be better for me. I want deep low bass, with some spl and some sq, more spl though. Which 8's do you recommend? Or which 10's? I had RE audio and Sundown audio in mind.

Sundown sa-12 would be fine

It's has the perfect blend of sq and spl. Works in smaller enclosures compared to most 12's too.

 

I was quoted 300 for a single 12 ported. So not sure how 3 8's ported would be cheaper.
I'm going with prefab, wouldn't 2 10's be better than a single 12?

Box building material including glue, screws, and carpet is less than 70 bucks.

Honestly running spl subs in a ported box listening to rap/techno will do fine with a pre fab. Thats fine if you have a different opinion.
