What to do about rear door speakers?
What to do about rear door speakers?
Okay, I know most people are going to tell me to just leave the rear speakers out, but I do occasionally have people in the rear seats (sedan) and I've always been a fan of rear fill. This might be a stupid question, but is having just midbass (like a component system without the tweeter) a good idea for rear doors? I'm afraid it will sound "muddy", but could also sound good with proper tuning. Or should I just go with some full range coax's? The rear doors will be sound deadened and this is the amp I ordered: http://www.massiveaudio.com/store/pr...roductid=16226
This is the last component of my system that I'm having trouble coming to a conclusion on. Thanks in advance for your input.

not sure if this helps... but im replacing the fronts with infinty kappa's, and adding subs to the trunk. running all 4 (techinically 6) of those speakers off of a 4 channel amp. then im going to keep the back seat speakers on the bose amp.
then i actually read somewhere to remove the 6x9's ( i have a coupe) so the air from the subs can flow easier into the cabin.
i also like the rear fill noise so this is my solution
