Sound quality of mine is as good, if not better, than a CD. Like wrath said, if you have downloaded crappy quality songs into your iPod, it'll sound like crap.

Okay, that's good to know! Thanks.

I play my music via Spotify. On my sedan (before I traded it in for a coupe), I had the iSimple and I hated it I had to put to put the volume to like 25-30 to get it loud enough.

Can someone help me with mine? I did everything and my radio just loops itself between FM1-FM2-AM. Ipod shows its charging though so I know the ground works

Try hitting the CD button twice. It should see the input as "CD CNG" (changer).

Ok Guys. I think I have read enough that I now know what to order and how to set it up. The big question is where do I get a USA spec PA15-INFI nowadays?

Thanks,

Ciro

Well, if google fails to find it for you, there's always amazon.

Hi there, new to the forums here.

I have an 04 g35 sedan. The serial number is well beyond the minimum I found on a chart (the chart said that all serial numbers after a certain number came prewired for Satellite radio). I also have the SAT button on my stereo controls.

Because its been freezing back in Ottawa these past few weeks, I did not remove the panels in the trunk, I assumed I would have the harness required to attach a pa15-INFI. When I visited family in the states for the holidays and removed everything from my trunk, I noticed I couldn't find the harness anywhere. Checked pretty much everywhere it could be, is it possible Im not prewired afterall? I was sure I would be.

Thanks, any input would be really appreciated. Has anyone else found that the cable they needed was tucked hidden away somewhere?

Early '03s aren't sat-capable. Late 03 and 04s are sat-capable, not pre-wired (unless yours came with the satellite adapter installed). 05+ are pre-wired and capable. You'll want to go with the PA15-NIS and connect to the back of the radio.

I have an 06 G35X. I found the SAT connector in the trunk and hooked up. Also tied to a good ground.
Radio has CD, RADIO, PTY/CAT, DISP buttons. I thought I followed directions pretty good. DIP switch 1 ON, 2 OFF, 3 ON, 4 OFF. I am getting nothing. No ipod charge. When I hit radio button, it just cycles between FM1, FM2, AM. Tried hitting the CD button twice, no help.

Do I need the NIS version and connect to the head unit?

Thanks - this is frustrating.

Hi all... Just purchased an 07 G35x with factory installed NAV and have been researching adding an iPod adapter. Based on what I've read here and elsewhere, it sounds like the USA Spec PA15-INF is the best choice since it hooks up in the trunk. Sounds like the major challenges are making sure it is grounded properly, setting the DIP switches correctly and running/hiding the wire for the actual iPod hookup. Is that correct?

Or would it be easier to get the NIS version and install the unit behind the radio unit (in which case I'm hoping someone has a link to instructions for radio removal in an 07 G35 sedan...)

Thanks much for any help/feedback!
