- Did u have to unplug the negative battery terminal..?
- Did u fish the cable into the cabin or leave it in the trunk. if u did fish it in, was it easy.?
- Anything i should keep an eye for wen installing it, i just want to control everything from the Ipod itself and have the ability to change songs, + or - vol thru the steering wheel controls.
wht dip switches positions should i set them on..?
Thanks

do you have satellite radio? the reason why im asking is because i bought the pa15-infi. when i tried to install it i figured out that i bought the wrong one because i dont have satellite radio so i had to return it and get the pa15-nis which plugs behind the radio unit in the dash not in the trunk. i have a 2005 g35 coupe 6mt with bose but without satellite radio.

They're both the same module, only difference between -nis and -infi is the harness and whether it hooks up in trunk oe sat harness or behind the radio. Check the trunk for the pre-wire harness and plug this into there. You'll set the dip switches to what the instructions say for "A-B-C" button (vs Radio, SAT, etc). To get to XM(ipod) you press the "Radio" button to scroll through FM1-FM2-SAT1-SAT2-AM, if you don't have sat installed, it just skips FM2-AM.
I have an 06 Coupe w/ Bose and that's how I get to XM.
I've installed the -infi into my wife's FX because to me the trunk was easier than pulling apart the dash. It's really not hard, just have to follow instructions for dip switches and the programing.
