help me find strong 12V lead in trunk

help me find strong 12V lead in trunk

Hi guys a need to find a strong 12V lead in the tuck hopefully you can help me find it.

Making one would mean running a cable all the way from the battery to the trunk. Don't really want that.

Yea but why would there be 12v runing to the back in the first place..and if you ran wire back there it wouldnt be interrupted

run a 12v lead.... its not that hard, maybe take an hour or 2

just run a new wire.

and it should NOT take an hour or 2 to do that. should take like 20 minutes.

How much current does the heater pull? You might not have to go directly to the battery if the load is small. There are high current 12v constant feeds ran to the ignition switch and to the BCM. If the load is <5-10A I would consider grabbing it there instead of going to the battery.

Either way, make sure you fuse the wire as close as possible to the source. If you go to the battery make sure you go through an exiting grommet and then seal the hole back up.
