Big Three help?

has anyone done the "Big 3" upgrade? i read that you need to replace the following with 4awg

1. Replace/add a new lead from the battery ground to the chassis
2. Replace/add to the lead going from your battery to your alternator's pos lead, and also your alternator's ground.
3. Replace/add the lead from your tranny to your battery and then replace/add one for your tranny's ground.

and i just recently read to also do the leads to your engine. im confused as to where these leads connect at. I have looked for these them, but im at a loss unfortunately, the only lead i could find was the one from the battery to chassis can anyone guide me through this at all? I would appreciate it a lot I tried to search but "3" is to short and "three" is to common :|

Haven't done it, yet, might some day if I'm that bored but there's some information out there. Couple links I scrounged up off google may help

https://g35driver.com/forums/audio-v...3-upgrade.html

Post #11 has a decent pic, check the other link in this one too, I didn't:
https://g35driver.com/forums/audio-v...g-big-3-a.html

Should be a good start, for more help on this I came up with the above by googling "G35 big three upgrade" and it popped up quite a few hits, some but not all related to our specific vehicle. There's also some YouTube videos that may or not be worth a look.

Good luck man.

For 0/1ga wire, Stinger's "Installation Bay" wire may look like a good deal on paper, but avoid it. Its about 50% insulation, 50% wire. I picked some up without really checking it first and when I got it home saw that the actual wire thickness was about the same size as some old Phoenix Gold 4gauge I had laying around.
