Worth replacing G35 Rear Deck Speakers?

I recommend going without anything at all on the rear deck. Unless you have dedicated signal processing to align time and adjust the audio signal, you're going to screw up any sort of soundstage. Music isn't mastered for surround sound. It's two channels. Unless you get dedicated processing to use the rear speakers specifically to create the illusion of a larger space like a concert hall. Without a dedicated unit, you might get some time alignment from your headunit, which will make the same sound hit your ears from the rear at the same time as the front speakers, but if it's lesser-quality speakers, it's sound muddying up the clearer sound from the fronts... so even if you put the same quality speakers in the rear as the front, you're still going to get falloff of the higher frequencies due to distance, making it sound worse. Putting the audio in front of you only is natural - when you go to a concert, talk to somebody or have almost any other interaction in this world, the subject is in front of you, so front soundstage is the way I recommend building your audio system. It's cheaper to build, simpler and "natural".
If space is an issue, go with a 8" woofer in a ported box (actually a good option even if space isn't an issue).

Wrath thanks for the detailed writeup. I think for now I am going to avoid getting subwoofer speakers back on the deck since I dont want to deal with any rattling back there. I will just try to find "normal" weaker speakers, and altho I understand it will not be the ideal setup, I am hoping it will just suffice. Maybe the JBL GTO's or something.

You can always go with 4 ohm speakers and bypass the stock Bose amp without cutting the harness apart and add a small amp which can be hidden to power the speakers and get the base you're probably looking for.... If you want to know how to bypass the amp let me know as I JUST did this in my 03 sedan.
I have rockford 3 ways in every door and I have an Alpine 4 channel running them. Very nice sounding. You can do this using the stock HU if you really must. Let me know.
