I got my boyo rearview camera and I was looking over tge wires.
What is this wire?the one with the red arrow pointing at it


They had this red cap thin on it(yellow arrow)and I figured I had to pull off the red cap and the whole thing came off.

 

Looks like it was a manual activation button to me.

 

Is this a something I need?
All the camera installs Ive seen people only used tge red,black and yellow RCA wire.

 

Well, if you've got it set to activate when you're in reverse, you don't need it.

 

Ok i Called up the company and they said its a switch to change the camera angle left/right.they added just in case someone wanted to mount the camera in the front there car.

 

One more question what color wire is the reverse light wire in the passenger side kick panel?2004 g35 coupe

will I did it.took me about 6hours this **** wasn't easy lol.i did not use The PAC ROEMNIS2 because it still in the mail(I haven't received it yet)but I did use the free harness that I got from crutchfeild and it works perfect sounds better than factory Bose radio.
