Well I was hopeful that I'd like the sound of the Pioneer with the Bose amp, and I can't stand it. I'll be finishing my back up camera next week and the amp's gotta go.

I guess I'm glad I tried it cause I'd always have been curious otherwise. If you know anyone who needs a PAC-ROEM-NI2 I'll send them mine. They can just pay for the shipping. Time to start looking for another amp...

I tried stock radio with stock amp aftermarket speakers and felt the same, I changed the amp and was much happier. I am running an alpine 5 channel amp and am super happy with it. I gave it mounted where the Bose is so its hidden, I can get you the model number if interested.

I'd like to know... Do you have a coupe or sedan? Also, when you used your new amp, do you no longer use the factory sub/6x9's? Or did you connect the 5th channel to it/them?

I have a coupe, I run a sub for the 5th channel. But you could wire the top deck up to it.

I havent had a setup with a second amp for mids and highs yet so that would be great.

I do plan on using the 6x9s with the 5th channel so any info on impedance that comes into play would be appreciated as well.

The Bose system is a 2ohm setup so the rear deck is probably a 2ohm speakers, when selecting the amp make sure it's okay to go down to 2ohm.

I am unsure how much you will like aftermarket amp with Bose speakers (if that's what you want to do) I read before and got mixed reviews on it some love some hate. Mine are there just not plugged in.

Oh no they're all going. Factory amp, factory 6 1/2's, factory tweeters, 6x9s's. Only thing I want left are the screws holding them in. I just meant I don't want to have two 6x9's sitting there doing nothing.

Hey Top Teke, I posted this in the double din pic thread too but just wanted to see if there was any reason you went with the HCE-C104 instead of the ND-BC5? How are you going to set it up? Just wondering because I'm planning to install my P4400BH this weekend and was not decided on the rear view camera. Thanks!

The backup cam was really just an afterthought and Alpine is what my local installer carries. No real good reason.

Please post pics when you install your rear camera. I'm curious how you will attach the camera and where. Thanks!

Mine is one that goes on to the license plate I actually attached it above it so that you cannot see it as much, I have been pretty happy with it to especially at 13$ for it.

Quote: I do! to tap in for the backup wire from the radio to only turn backup camera on during backing up, you use a purple wire from the driverside kick panel, there is a huge FAT black loom full of cables carefully open that up and look for a purple cable there is two one is in a smaller collection to the other, you want the other not from the small cable collection (I hope that helps) also test the cable when you do it to be 100% sure with a multi reader, Change the stereo setting to be battery so it only turns on when in reverse.

At the back of the car there is a rubber gromit feeding the tag lights, you can use that to push the cables into the trunk. I used the power from the backup light at the back of the camera so it only comes on during backing up its also a dark purple on the light.

I always wish I took pictures during install and never do. sorry I hope it helps though
