No need for a Haynes, all the stuff you need can be found online in more detail for free.

That's true...as long as you don't mind getting your iPad\Touchpad\phone greasy and oily, and or dropped and broken, while working on your vehicle.

My Hayne's book has been invaluable. I'm all for saving money. But I don't mind spending $15 to avoid the invariable headaches of not having the necessary resources immediately at hand.

Okay, I am now waiting on my final component to arrive in the mail which is the alpine sub. After rereading this thread and doing some more research, I have concluded that the PAC LOC is not going to cut it as far as sound quality goes. I have read a lot of good things about AudioControl LC6i.

Eggy, I know you do not advocate LOCs but this seems like the next best thing within my budget at this time to improve the sound quality. I wish I could afford something like an Audison bit one but that's not really realistic right now. I will definitely be jumping into a dedicated processor down the line when I upgrade to better components.

I think the LC6i will be the answer to most of my questions and will tie my new system together pretty nicely. If anyone has any better suggestions or what you think of the LC61, please let me know. Thank you.

I know you had some criticism about my amp wires, so I was wondering if you can suggest something better since I want to run the wires once and have it there for a long time, if possible.
