the brushed aluminum, will fit if you custom make it, but no its not an easy job...

the headunit, yeah it will but with some custom work to your finisher...

Hey Grider,

I have an 03.5 with nav.. I want to do the DD conversion and want the same unit you have.. One question.. Will my stering wheel controls work with the alpine unit?? Also.. I noticed your in the OC.. Will you be willing to help me out..?? I'll take care of you..

yeah ill help you out no problem... yeah the steering wheel controls will work (you need the pac swi-x interface) but my unit is not alpine, its eclipse...

u should have came to me earlier, i JUST sold my 03-04 dd kit......

So, the '05 6MT Coupe doesn't need the bracket if it came with the stock navi?

no car needs the bracket purchased because it comes stock on your car!
unless you have money to burn...

Has anyone tried to do an aftermarket screen install into the stock navi cubby hole? Meaning, is there a way to put a screen/navi in up there and integrate it into the stock BOSE system and HVAC controls? I'd like to be able to get the screen in up top for better visibility and so that it won't block the HVAC controls when the screen folds out. So, has anyone successfully done this on an 05 coupe?

hasnt been done for the 05's but it has been done for the 03-04's... which means it will work for the o5's also...

do a search in this forum, youll find it!

its a major pain in the **** to install if thats what your thinking of doing...
go with a DD kit instead!

Yeah it might be, but I actually like the stock HU and prefer to keep it stock w. added navigation. Does it have the capability to play dvd's with a dvd player installed?

stock navi, yeah it will play dvd's if you buy a new dvd player and an AV Electronics or pac interface for it...
