Just a tip on a related note: when your door panels are apart, glue a 6" x 6" piece of open- or closed-cell foam padding (the kind you can get at a camping store) to the door panel behind each speaker. This absorbs and dissipates the "wasted" sound produced by the speakers which just hits the outer door skin.

Some closed-cell foam isn't as "closed" as others, particularly in doors with are semi-exposed to the environment, I wouldn't go with one that can possibly allow moisture to enter the foam. I'd go with a proper automotive audio-grade foam like they sell on www.sounddeadenershowdown.com

Installers in NYC

Can anyone recommend a good professional installer for a double-din head unit, speakers and possibly vibration dampeners? I'm in the NYC area.
