maybe im retearded but almost evry nissan and infiniti has the feature to show the name of a trck on a cd

i have an o4 g35 coupe and it refuses to show the name and title of the cd playing

i have a bose system remium audio and i ant get the option where the system shows the title of the track playing

a nissan pathfinder muran i35 ... all can do it y cant the g>>?

maybe im doing something wrong please help

no, you're not doing anything wrong

the 2003-2004 G35 headunit does not display any track title information

never did, never will

 

It only shows that information for songs that are playing on the radio. The 05's show the CD track information of MP3 CDs but the 03's and 04's dont with any CD. Only with songs on the radio.

 

ya ud think since its 2003-2005 that a 35-40k car WOULD have such a feature seeing that a cheapo $100 aftermarket HU does.....o well i really didnt buy the G for its nice radio...hehe

 

so the 05 does play MP3 cds? never read that on the spec list (now I want one despite the lack of brembos, THOSE ASSES!)

 

Yes, it definitely does play MP3's.

 

Hey I have a 2007 g35x and I can't get the titles of the songs to show up either. When I put in the disk it just says track 1 track 2 and so on. Is there any way I can change this?

 

Not all CDs have the album text included.

They may show in your computer because your computer looks them up by surfing on the information superhighway.

You can re-burn them with the right software and a bunch of blank CDs to include the CD text, or you can join the modern world and get a new car stereo and a drive full of MP3s.

 

Yea good luck finding a double din system that would work on a 2nd gen 07 g35x. I have loojed high and low and still nothing has yet to appear.

 

Any of them will work in one. You just have to install it somewhere other than in the factory location. A skilled installer can get *really* creative - use a single-din flip-out screen on a set of actuators to pop out of the center console, extend the touchscreen overlay to cover up the factory screen and use an adapter to mirror the double-din's display to the factory screen, install a flip-out screen upside-down in the roof liner...

It takes $ and skill, but it's easily doable.
