My 03.5s G is pre-wired for SAT and I have the opportunity to get the SAT receiver from my buddy's 04s G. Can anyone tell me where it is, how to get it out, and if I will need any tools. The antenae will not be removed just the SAT receiver unit.

-Can I just unplug it once I find it?
-Will my buddy start experiencing any wierd side effects besides not having SAT?

Do you have a coupe or sedan?

 

In the sedan, the Sat unit is located just behind the passenger-side rear seat. You will need to remove the trunk lining under the parcel shelf and behind the rear seat. The unit is normally attached with three screws and double stick tape - which can be a b*tch to remove. The harness connector and antenna connector are easy to remove. What about for the coupe?
