audio issue 06 G35
Hey guys!!
i have a weird issue on my g, i could be listening to the radio or music and then without me pressing anything the car would go "COMMAND NOT RECOGNIZED" then it would start talking for a little bit and the only thing i can do is turn the volume down and cant change it
it does it by itself and its starting to annoy me
what should i do?

do you mean hub? cuz its an aftermarket steering wheel so if u say theres a button on the wheel that makes sense cuz i had a problem with my horn going off for no reason
so what should i do ?
so what should i do ?
No, HU = head unit. Is it the stock stereo or an aftermarket one.
Yeah definitely sounds like a problem with the OEM steering wheel control wiring, there are stereo controls, cruise control, and BLUETOOTH controls and I suspect the BT button is getting triggered asking for a voice command.
I'm not familliar with aftermarket steering wheels on this platform. Typically it uses a hub that mounts over the existing clock spring, then has resistors that plug into the existing airbag harness to defeat the airbag light, then the steering wheel bolts to the mounting hub.
Hopefully someone more familiar with the AV side of things can shed some insight, I have never actually used the bluetooth controls, actually I haven't turned my stereo on in like two years...
