I installed an android 10 radio in my g35.

I figured I would wire up Key 1 and Key 2 from the radio to the M39 plug for steering wheel control 1 & 2 .... I was not able to assign buttons to the new radio.





Do I need the ASWC-1 is this the only way ?

 

Those style radios usually don't need an ASWC-1 or similar translator box, but those cheap android radio units are generally... cheap and unreliable. Best bet is to go looking for support for that specific radio to get it to work.
