So how is this mounting tab supposed to do anything?

Maybe my coupe box is slightly defective or something because it definitely sticks out slightly and the metal tab is about 1" too low to be of any use - it just sticks up. To be used and be in place how the pictures show - i have to put my hand underneath the box.

 

Sount like there is something missing from under trunk floor, just make a spacer 1" thick to place under the 4080 box so the tab fits under the rubber edge

 

Can someone post pictures of this box in there trunk. I just recently got an 06, and need a box(es) for my 2 10" Infiniti Kappa Perfects!
