not sure, but I would think if you get a JDM unit the NAV wouldnt work since it would come with Japanese mapping data.

try it, most equipment is from a Japanese model #, just adjusted to fit the countries language. The characters should display on the folders.

I asked Japandirect.com if I could connect the E3308 mdc 3 md changer. They think it is compatible.

You said you were quoted $2100 for the 5495, I was quoted $1600 for the 5435. There also going on ebay for as low as $1575...

The retail price at CarToys was $1899 for the AVN5435 and was $2399 for the AVN5495.

I was also quoted $1700 (with tax) for the kenwood ddx7015 and DV4100.

There was no hate in my statement. I would just rather talk to someone who I can understand. Have you had a problem with your computer lately???

Will the DDx-8015 have the same graphics as the KVT-915? I think this unit would be killer if it did!

Have you guys seen the new avic-d1? It's double-din sized too and has similar features to the n1/n2. This may also be something to consider.avic-d1

I was thinking about it until I saw a AVIC-N2 on display. I didnt like the screen quality.

You could see a major difference between AVIC-N2 and the kenwood and eclipse models. Not sure if they use the same screen in AVIC-D1.

I was just going to post that Kenwood is carrying the DDx-8017--nice GUI. Same as the KVT-915. The Avic-d1 though doesn't play dvds.

My 05 double din dash should be here any day now and I have no idea what I want.

This is so confusing, right when I thought I knew, kenwood comes out with new products!!
