not sure, but I would think if you get a JDM unit the NAV wouldnt work since it would come with Japanese mapping data.
try it, most equipment is from a Japanese model #, just adjusted to fit the countries language. The characters should display on the folders.
I asked Japandirect.com if I could connect the E3308 mdc 3 md changer. They think it is compatible.

I was also quoted $1700 (with tax) for the kenwood ddx7015 and DV4100.

hahaha, if i did, i fix them myself... i usu get calls from my friends to fix them... i have learned how to fix them on my own too... pretty wierd, but then again, i have been around computers since i was like 4 or 5 and grew intrest in them very quickly... my first computer was a Tandy... never heard of those computers since way back in the day...

I was thinking about it until I saw a AVIC-N2 on display. I didnt like the screen quality.
You could see a major difference between AVIC-N2 and the kenwood and eclipse models. Not sure if they use the same screen in AVIC-D1.
