on ebay... though I think there's no warranty if you get it from ebay.

Where can I find Eclipse amps on the net? Tried Crutchfield's, along with others, can't find them

you can only get eclipse products from an authorized dealer.. Eclipse has been known to scour ebay and buy their own products and I believe they don't allow any of their dealers to sell online

If you're willing to come to sac there's a place that will do it for 2700 or 2800 installed.

Don't wanna start a new post so might as well ask here...
Is the screen resolution of the pioneer AVC - N2 superior to the eclipse 5495?

I'm looking at the same thing; however, I can't see why the 7017 wouldn't work just as well. The 8017 has DSP and 5.1 channel out which we probably would never use in our G. The 7017 is not badged excelon, but the specs are close to the same. Both have 5.0v pre-outs whereas the 7015 and 6017 only have 2.0. It might not have as many screensavers or wallpapers as the 8017, but that doesn't concern me.

The dealer down here said the nav unit, kna-dv1400, is hard to come by at this point. He figures something else is in the works after the CES.

To me, the Kenwoods are the best option of all the DDIN's out there right now. Can't speak for the new Z1 from pioneer. You can hook up an ipod easily or put a music keg on it for pretty cheap. I'm getting a music keg off ebay for 125 bucks.

That's just my .02. Now all I need is about 300,000 more cents and I'll have my system setup.

Here is a link to a listing on ebay that provides some info on all the KW DDIN units.

What exactly do you have to do in order to "bypass" the HU so you can watch DVDs while driving?

Specifically for the AVN 5435

thanks

Actually, the audio for the factory nav is hooked into the bose HU right...?
If would that just plug into any other HU, ie the DDX8017....?
